Katsoridi Klio / Κατσορίδη Κλειώ

Klio Katsoridi holds an academic background in Communication, having completed her undergraduate studies at the Department of Communication and Media Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, followed by postgraduate studies at Hosei University in Tokyo as a Japanese Government scholar. Conducted entirely in Japanese, her postgraduate studies and master’s thesis provided deep immersion in Japan’s academic, linguistic, and cultural environment, shaping a lasting professional engagement with the Japanese language and contemporary Japanese culture.

Professionally, she has built extensive experience in strategic communication, having worked with leading corporate groups such as the Saracakis Group—where she was responsible for corporate communication and collaboration with major international, primarily Japanese, manufacturers—as well as with the OTE Group as a Senior Communication Specialist.

She serves as President of the MEXT Alumni Association, Greece, supporting academic exchange and the alumni community of Japanese Government scholars, while teaching Japanese on a one-to-one basis to both underage and adult learners, combining structured language instruction with cultural insight.

Through this multifaceted path, she seeks to act as a bridge between education, communication, and intercultural exchange, fostering meaningful engagement with the Japanese language and contemporary Japanese culture.

Η Κλειώ Κατσορίδη διαθέτει ακαδημαϊκό υπόβαθρο στον τομέα της Επικοινωνίας, με προπτυχιακές σπουδές στο Τμήμα Επικοινωνίας και Μέσων Μαζικής Ενημέρωσης του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών, από το οποίο αποφοίτησε με άριστα Στη συνέχεια, ολοκλήρωσε μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στο Πανεπιστήμιο Hosei του Τόκιο, στο Τμήμα Επικοινωνίας, ως υπότροφος του Ιαπωνικού Κράτους, με  φοίτηση και εκπόνηση διπλωματικής εργασίας στην ιαπωνική γλώσσα.

Σε επαγγελματικό επίπεδο, έχει αναπτύξει πολυετή εμπειρία στον χώρο της στρατηγικής επικοινωνίας, έχοντας εργαστεί στον Όμιλο Επιχειρήσεων Σαρακάκη με αντικείμενο τον σχεδιασμό της εταιρικής επικοινωνίας και τη συνεργασία με μεγάλους διεθνείς – κυρίως ιαπωνικούς – κατασκευαστικούς οίκους, καθώς και στον Όμιλο Εταιρειών ΟΤΕ ως Senior Communication Specialist.

Παράλληλα, διατελεί Πρόεδρος του MEXT Alumni Association, Greece, υποστηρίζοντας ενεργά την ακαδημαϊκή ανταλλαγή και το δίκτυο υποτρόφων του Ιαπωνικού Κράτους.

Διδάσκει επί σειρά ετών στο ΕΚΠΑ και κατ’ ιδίαν την Ιαπωνική γλώσσα, συνδυάζοντας τη συστηματική γλωσσική διδασκαλία με τη βαθύτερη κατανόηση της ιαπωνικής κουλτούρας.
