Architect
He was born in Patras and graduated from the School of Architecture of the National Technical University of Greece in 1986. As a Japanese Government scholar during the period 1988-1991, he studied at Fukui University in Japan and holds a Master of Engineering in Architecture.
He has two children from his marriage to another scholar.
Since 1993 he has been a shareholder and CEO of the design company MEAS SA. He is involved in public works studies for building projects, monument restorations and reconstructions. He has prepared numerous studies for important projects, including Olympic projects for the Athens 2004 Olympics (Agios Kosmas Sailing Center, IBC), Museums (Acropolis Museum, Heraklion Museum), Universities (Thessaly, Ioannina, Aegean), Hospitals (Lefkada, Sotiria), Railway Projects (Suburban, Athens Tram) etc. He has published his work in scientific journals and has exhibited at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2004.

For the last decade, he has been a member and has served as Secretary General of the Board of Directors of the of the Association of Greek Design Offices and is a member of the Technical Councils of many State Organizations and Ministries (ETAD, AADE, EYDAP, GHEETHA, etc.)
In his free time he is involved in painting and music composition and has composed music for the theater.
Γεννήθηκε στην Πάτρα και είναι απόφοιτος της Σχολής Αρχιτεκτόνων του ΕΜΠ 1986. Ως υπότροφος της Ιαπωνικής Κυβέρνησης κατά την περίοδο 1988-1991, σπούδασε στο Fukui University της Ιαπωνίας και είναι κάτοχος Master of Engineering στην Αρχιτεκτονική.
Έχει δύο παιδιά από γάμο του με επίσης υπότροφο.
Από το 1993 είναι μέτοχος και Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος της εταιρείας μελετών ΜΕΑΣ ΑΕ. Ασχολείται με μελέτες δημοσίων έργων για κτιριακά έργα, αποκαταστάσεις μνημείων και αναπλάσεις. Έχει εκπονήσει πλήθος μελετών σημαντικών έργων στα οποία συγκαταλέγονται Ολυμπιακά έργα της Ολυμπιάδας Αθήνα 2004 (Ιστιοπλοϊκό Κέντρο Αγίου Κοσμά, IBC), Μουσεία (Μουσείο Ακρόπολης, Μουσείο Ηρακλείου), Πανεπιστήμια (Θεσσαλίας, Ιωαννίνων, Αιγαίου), Νοσοκομεία (Λευκάδος, Σωτηρία), Σιδηροδρομικά Έργα (Προαστιακός, Τραμ Αθηνών) κ.ά. Έχει δημοσιεύσει εργασίες του σε επιστημονικά περιοδικά και έχει εκθέσει στη Biennale Αρχιτεκτονικής της Βενετίας το 2004.
Την τελευταία δεκαετία είναι μέλος και έχει διατελέσει Γενικός Γραμματέας του Δ.Σ. του Συνδέσμου Ελληνικών Γραφείων Μελετών και είναι μέλος Τεχνικών Συμβουλίων πολλών Οργανισμών του Δημοσίου και Υπουργείων (ΕΤΑΔ, ΑΑΔΕ, ΕΥΔΑΠ, ΓΕΕΘΑ κ.ά.)
Στον ελεύθερο χρόνο του ασχολείται με τη ζωγραφική και μουσική σύνθεση και έχει συνθέσει μουσική για το θέατρο.
